Lotus Entertainment Presents Euro Rave 4 featuring DJs cRAIG mITCHELL, Mike Device, ZJ, and Russell. 2 floors of music, crazy lights, on a boat sailing around the lake. September 19th, boat leaves at 10 and comes back around 1.
(An FYI to my of-age peoples: this is an all-ages show w/no booze on board, so you have been warned… Plenty of Red Bull tho!)

In July we had almost like a 2-part Stereo Warmup: on friday we threw a rager in a gutted apartment (which was rad, thanks to Noah G for making this happen) which featured the musical stylings of The Vacant Lots, Nosebleed Island, and Heartthrobz, with me djing before, after, and in between. So. Much. Fun.
Then on Saturday, we took it to Winooski where we were joined by The Small is Beautiful, perhaps better known to some as J’aime Tambeur, formerly of the Unicorns and Islands. But his new material is killer, and he blended the lines between musical performance and a dj set by plaing mostly original mashups, and having a keyboard with him that he played as well. He has a mixtape that I suggest you all go get here.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the nasty feelings party on wednesday… drew stock played some awesome disco jams and black feelings rocked it. then chow nasty really rocked it. they threw down hard. i’m not sure the monkey has ever seen a show like that before. of course a big shout out to tick tick for putting it on and putting me on the bill.

i’m off to the future claw party in a few, should be another good night, with justin miller and lovefingers from nyc as well as the future claw djs. Burlington heads should also know about a-trak, sinden, steve aoki, sammy bananas, and jokers of the scene in montreal on saturday, and then on sunday, MGMT and chairlift at higher ground, and then on monday bassnectar, again at higher ground. quite a week for awesome shows.

Be on the lookout for Stereo Warmup Vol. 2 coming out soon… It’s been slighty delayed because one of my turntables blew up, but as soon as that’s back from the shop the mix is getting done. We’ve got some super artwork by noah for the lucky few who get a real copy so be on the lookout.
